Sean McGowan, EI

Sean is a Municipal Staff Engineer with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering from Montana Technological University. He combines technical expertise with practical field experience gained through environmental, mining, and consulting projects across the western United States.

His experience includes surface and groundwater sampling, environmental monitoring, regulatory compliance support, waste characterization, gradation testing, data collection, and technical report preparation. He has worked alongside regulatory agencies and project teams to gather and analyze environmental data, helping support responsible resource management and infrastructure development.

Raised on a family farm near Highwood, Montana, Sean developed a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and hands-on problem-solving abilities from an early age. His background operating agricultural equipment and working in demanding outdoor environments has shaped his collaborative approach and commitment to delivering quality results. An active participant in 4-H throughout his youth, he also developed leadership skills through service and community involvement. He is dedicated to providing practical, reliable solutions that help clients achieve their project goals.
