Jesse Burns, PLS

With a lifelong fascination for maps and a passion for problem-solving, Jesse has built a career dedicated to the profession of land surveying. A graduate of Flathead Valley Community College with Associate degrees in Land Surveying and General Studies, he earned recognition through both the Tiny Tillotson and James Shaw Scholarships awarded by MARLS.

As a Professional Land Surveyor (PLS), Jesse brings experience in boundary, control, right-of-way, topographic, and construction surveys. His background includes establishing and maintaining geodetic control networks across Montana, performing records research, preparing boundary descriptions, and coordinating construction staking for a variety of public and private projects. He is proficient with Trimble equipment, Trimble Business Center, AutoCAD Civil 3D, ArcGIS, and GNSS technologies.

Known for his strong work ethic and commitment to continuous learning, Jesse is focused on expanding his technical expertise as a senior land surveyor. He enjoys every aspect of the profession, from researching historic records to seeing new designs take shape in the field.
