NRCS Ruby Habitat

Overview

Since 2011 Stahly Engineering has worked with the Natural Resources and Conservation Service (NRCS) and Ducks Unlimited on over 20 Grassland or Wetland Resource Preservation projects. Boundary and easement surveys that followed the format of an American Land Title Survey (ALTA) have been provided for parcels of land being considered for placement in conservation easements and a featured project was for an area near Sheridan Montana where almost 400 acres was surveyed and conserved.

Details

Work included the extensive office research and field surveying of original Public Land Survey System (PLSS), State Highway rights-of-way, and subsequent private cadastral parcels of the subject area.
Stahly Engineering worked with the private landowner and the NRCS to produce a Certificate of Survey (COS) drawing that showed the area of the conservation easement which was recorded within the records of the Madison County Clerk and Recorders office.
