This bridge is located over Big Spring Creek, and is in a detailed flood study area, meaning the water surface of the creek could not be increased at all. In addition, lengthening the bridge to accommodate hydraulics was a challenge due to the proximity to the highway on the east, and a residential driveway on the west.
