John Pugh, PLS, based in our Bozeman office, is a highly skilled Professional Land Surveyor with over 35 years of extensive experience in Public Land Survey System (PLSS) retracements, boundary analysis, topographic and design surveys, right-of-way retracements, and hydrographic and floodplain surveys. John combines his deep knowledge of traditional survey methods with cutting-edge technologies to deliver accurate, efficient, and reliable results across various projects. His expertise spans collaboration with private clients and County, State, and Federal agencies, making him a trusted resource for tackling complex surveying challenges. John also oversees office-to-field coordination, management, and field layout for various projects, including large-scale highway and road construction efforts. His work with Subdivision Review and Administration and Examining Land Surveyor Reviews ensures precision and regulatory compliance in critical planning and development processes. In addition to his technical expertise, John is a passionate mentor, dedicated to supporting the professional growth of junior staff and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning within the survey team.
